Getting Started

Before getting started please make sure to read the Requirements and prepare your firewall and network if required.

To get started, select a computer in your network that will act as a server. It's good practice to run the server on a dedicated machine if you plan to connect many render nodes and workstations. The server machine should be available 24/7.

For smaller networks and workload you can also use your own workstation as the server.

Configuring the Server

Once RenderFlow is installed you will be prompted to select a mode. You can choose between Node, Workstation and Server. Select the the Server option to continue.

When RenderFlow as a server your are required to login with your Pulze account. Click on the Login with Browser button and enter your credentials.

After a successful login, RenderFlow will check your licenses. You can select between Automatic and Manual license management.

In case you don’t have a license and you are eligible for a trial you can automatically request and start your trial.

Next you will need to define a Shared network folder aka Repository. This folder has to be accessible by all connected workstations and render nodes. RenderFlow will use this to store the submitted scene files, logs, thumbnails and other files.
